LC to LC Simplex Fiber Adapter with ceramic sleeve. This plastic LC coupler is designed for mounting in panels with rectangular cutouts. These adapters feature ceramic alignment sleeves which provide precision mating for both multimode and single mode applications.
LC duplex fiber optic adapters have an SC simplex footprint with plastic flanges and are made to supply a single mode option for our loaded fiber patch panels and loaded fiber wall mount enclosures. Each fiber coupler fits securely into designated slots and is used to couple LC connections together inside of a fiber distribution unit.

The LC Adapters were developed by Lucent Technologies. They are composed of a plastic housing with an RJ45 push-pull style clip. Single-mode and multimode LC adapters come with a choice of zirconia ceramic or phosphor bronze split sleeves, including zirconia diagonal split sleeves for PC and APC applications.
